"The Clouded Mountains of Shusha" was screened in Warsaw, Poland.



In the capital of Poland, the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw, in collaboration with the embassies of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Kazakhstan in Poland, along with the International Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation, hosted an international conference on the topic of "Poland and the Turkic World." The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Poland, Nargiz Gurbanova, delivered an introductory speech, emphasizing the significance of the event. Additionally, ambassadors from Turkey and Kazakhstan in Poland addressed the conference attendees.

Subsequently, the conference proceeded with its sessions. In a dedicated session focusing on Azerbaijan, presentations were given by scholars from the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Academician Ziya Bunyadov of ANAS. These included Doctor of History Professor Solmaz Rustamova-Tohidi, Associate Professor Afshan Shafiyeva, and Doctor of Philosophy in History Namig Mammadov, among others. Rizvan Huseynov, the director of the Caucasian History Center and a prominent political scientist, presented a report on the epigraphic inscriptions found at the Ganjasar Albanian monastery.

Towards the conclusion of the conference, Shahla Naghiyeva, the chairwoman of "Sonmaz Mashall" Cultural Relations Public Union and Associate Professor of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, delivered a talk on the production of the feature- documentary film titled "The Clouded Mountains of Shusha" produced by Sonmaz Mashall with financial support from the State Support Agency for NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with Public Television. Shahla Naghiyeva also discussed the historical and cultural significance of Shusha.

Subsequently, an English version of the film was screened, and Musallim Hasanov, the film's screenwriter, addressed questions from the conference participants regarding the film.
