Translation workshops

“Sonmaz Mashal” Cultural Relations Public Union along with the UNESCO chair of Translation and Intercultural Communications has workshops on literary translation two times per month- the second Saturdays of each month in the office of the UNESCO chair of the AUL. The works of the famous Azerbaijani witers rich with national color are translated into English by the participants of the workshop, meaning distortions are discussed and common conclusion is arrived at on the most successful translation versions in the workshops. The final translation works are gathered to be published under the sponsorship of the Azerbaijan University of Languages and “Sonmaz Mashal” Cultural Relations Public Union.

• Buta.Women Writing from the Regions Workshop — 2012 Contemporary Fiction and Poetry by Azerbaijani Women from the Regional Areas of Azerbaijan with Additional Works by Baku Area and American co-participants.
